Has anyone noticed that the Google based layers in the OpenLayers

Hi
I usually do what you want to do, but this step seems a little bit odd
Now, using Google Maps I selected four specific well and easy referenced
points into the image to get geographics coordinates (longitude and latitude)
Check this video, is in Spanish and it shows how to reference using a

I have tried the route you suggested. I am working on Antarctic data, so
generated a vector grid for 0-360 in X (at 10 degrees) and latitude (-90 to

Hello everyone,
I successfully installed qgis server and later also qgis webclient on two
different servers. I have a problem with the amount of displayed layers. I
am not able to display all layers. By turning on more than 4 layers the
viewer stucks on loading the map and does not display the

I would:
- add geometry column to that point
- open dbf as spreadsheet
- calculate 4 new coordinate pairs in
You could generate a standard 30km buffer using the buffer tool in
Vector Geoprocessing Tools Buffer.
Then create an extent polygon from that output buffer using Vector
Research Tools Polygon from layer extent.
I'm curious of the extent polygon is going to retain the 30km distance
though..

When I try to change the default crs in
/options/crs/coordinate reference System for new layers
And select a layer other than wgs 84, after pressing OK it reverts back to
wgs 84
Do I overlook something or is this a bug?
Thanks

Hi all,
I have a quarter degree grid index which represents individual geotiffs. One
square in the grid represents a topomap (1:50,000) and has a geotiff. I want to
use the hotlink in QGIS to trigger the geotiff of each square when I click on a
square in the grid. Therefore, by clicking in
