Hi Agustin,
nope, no answer.
Actually my very disappointing workaround was, to install VirtualBox and
Windows on it and run QGIS from there.
On native Linux, i only use the debian-nightly master for playing around
(or better: watching it crash).
Cheers

Hi, I'm running PyWPS service with some processes. Everything is working
fine bud i wanted to try Qgis plugin WPS client and problems showed up.
First thing is that my process takes a while but Qgis ends with Timed out
even if statusSupported is set to True. The only way i found to deal

Really sad.
Is the problem with Mrsid the only reason why you have had to take the
VirtualBox solution?
Crashes of debian-nightly master are to be expected, though.
So, we should all understand that the only way to use Mrsid on linux
qgis is and will be
that the user compiles gdal with that

Rerunning the OSGeo4W installer I see only gdal16-ecw,
gdal16-mrsid and and gdal17-ecw, gdal17-mrsid. But the currently
installed gdal is 1.9 and no ecw or mrsid libraries for this
version.
Am I missing something?

Micha,
you just made me nervous ...

I don't think OSGeo4W is update to date just yet. You can follow this

Hi!
Is there any way to make that the ID field of the table become
the name field in the kml? Currently I get all points as no name
in GE (there is no field name in the kml). I have to edit the kml
by hand in GE.
Alternatively, is there any way to create this name field in a more
systematic way?
I did not find the reference now, but if I recall right you need a field called
name. Whatever is in this field will go to the KML file as name.

You can use OGR creation options. In the 'Save vector layer as...' dialog,
use the 'OGR creation options - Data source' text edit to write the
following:
NameField=your_attribute
Then export to KML and load your layer in Google Earth. The name of the
placemark should correspond to the one in

I´ve installed the weekly build version of QGIS, and now been working with this

But I still find it very difficult to use the new icons. At first it was of

I do have exactly the same problem. E.g. I almost cannot see any difference
between the WMS/WCS/WFS icons except on a very tiny part of the icons whereas
the old icons were easy to distinguish. But this is perhaps I'm getting old...
and I got used to the old icons. I guess I will not learn
