Hi all,
It appears that QGIS2.0 is better suited to use batch mode, but:
Where can I get some instructions on how to work under batch mode for
QGIS2.0 for a Windows OS?
Thank you in advance,

Hi,
With 2.0 standalone install I do not found ECW support.
I've solved this by copying libecwj2.dll and gdal_ECW_JP2ECW.dll from my
Lisboa install to Dufour.
(It was inspired by http://fr.faunalia.eu/node/438)
But for installing on many computers it does not look really professional...

The standalones are based on OSGeo4W. Unfortunately the OSGeo4W 32bit doesn't
have ECW support (and still is at GDAL 1.9.2). The 64bit version (and in turn

Jurgen,
What is the reason for the 32bit and 64bit using different GDAL versions?
This seems bad from a consistency platform standpoint.

I did the complete 64bit build of osgeo4w and for 32bit I used what OSGeo4W
had at that
Ok, so the main thing here is getting 32bit OSGeo4W updated to GDAL 1.10 in
order to use ECW (plus all the other cool stuff).
Is there a reason it's not on 1.10 and could that be done? Not knowing the
GDAL update process.
I just know that missing ECW support will be a issue for a lot of clients
For enterprise deployment of QGIS 2.0 with Windows 32, it will be bad publicity
for QGIS...
Should I ask to migrate all our computers from 32 to 64 bits ? ;-)

Jurgen,
What about linux users? Why can't we have ECW and MrSID support out of the
box? Sorry, I've never understood why Linux users need to have, as someone
once said here in this forum, a brain to shell interface to compile those
raster formats and use them...

Having a strange problem at the moment.
If I open a vector attribute table and click on a column heading to sort
the column then this doesn't seem to work. The column contains mainly
numbers with some NA and some NULL strings.
The sort action groups most together most NA and NULL, and orders the

Hi List,
I've noted some inconsistency in what happens when you double click a
layer in an effort to add it to QGIS.
One of several possible things happens:
Add Vector Layer:
- Double clicking a file closes the Open an OGR supported Vector Layer
dialog but keeps open the Add vector layer
Hi Denis,
I don't think this is a QGIS thing. Looking at my install there is no
BCSystray.exe. That sounds more like it is a different application, though
googling finds no obvious candidates.
If you try googling for ordinal 322 you'll see it's a general Windowsy
error.

I don't know about the Linux version, but it 2.0.1 certainly includes it in
the Windows install - Python 2.7.
Maybe try wiping it entirely?

Hi Larry,
No problem. I just figured I should ask first as there may have been a
reason for it.

Hi,
For Postgis and Oracle there are options in the Settings -- Options
-- Datasources.
There you can define what double click on a table means.
But yes, it is a bit inconsistent.
I think I got used to it. No major trouble, but would be nice if
behaviour could be unified.

Hi,
I ask this because I am on 32-bit Windows and therefore my QGIS 2.0 comes

Question is: How well QGIS 2.0 supports reading OSM data with the GDAL
