What you need to use is the vector geoprocessing tools Union. Use your
polygons as input layer and the grid as union layer.

I got this error when I start this plugin, It's by Google, and since
they don't usually reply to emails, I have uninstalled the plugin for now.

I think this is because you have a open layer plugin layer open and the
Google plugin is trying to handle selection changed on that layer. The
OpenLayers layer is a fake layer so it doesn't have a dataProvider. Try
without having any OpenLayers layers loaded.

Hi Nathan,
My mistake in my earlier mail.
I'm not starting the Map Engine. This error show when I start OpenLayer to
get base map.
Now I have uninstall Map Engine plugin, but the error still pop up when
ever I start Open Layer.
Hope it will go away... :-)
