Hi All,

horizontal . Appreciated for your suggestion.
In addition I also add some bar graph using add diagram . However I could not
able to mention name for each bar for each field.
Please guide me.

Hi Azizul,
what exactly do you mean with vertical. Is North to the left or right, or Do you
want to rotate the original directions?
Maybe you use odd projection settings...

Dear all,
I have a problem in creating a dem from a point file format in shape.
The raster is not shown but qgis returns the message bad allocation and the
legend shows nan.
can you help?
thank you

Hello,
maybe I'm wrong, but when I have that message in any software is
something related with RAM. Maybe the raster file created is very large,
try to make one with low resolution.
Best wishes.

Hi Azizul
Did you want to mean that the paper orientation was set to portrait and you
preferred it to appear in landscape format? If so, you'll need to check the
properties and make the adjustments as appropriate.
Hope this helps!

Dear List,
I think there is a bug loading postgis views (QGIS 2.4).
I tried to isolated the bug with these two simple views:
view 1)
create view va as select gid, geom from a;
view 2)
create view vb as select gid, tsuelo, geom from a;
Both views are loaded correctly from db manager.
Using

You can/should choose the key.

Hi Luis Miguel,
I tried to reduce points and lower the resolution without resolve.
I thought then that it was a problem with the type of data contained in the
field that expresses the elevation.
I then tried to use a number of type double with an accuracy of one decimal but

Hi Tonino
I think this is related to how QGIS takes null values in this version:
null values are taken as minus infinite (-inf), then perhaps it is also
taken as nan (not a number).
Try to make your work with GRASS plugin. If you are not familiar with it,
try to convert nan values into zero
Beginning with a black and white raster, black lines on a white
background, I'd like to end up with a raster image with no white
background with only the black lines showing. Additionally, I'd like the
black lines to be a different color, bright red, bright green, etc.
This is what I've done:
I have two sets of vaguely coincident point data that I'd like to compare.
Each point has a corresponding measure, and I'd like to assess the spatial
similarity between these two sets of measurements. My approach would be to
convert these values into grid data and then use techniques for
Hi,
I suppose blending is not the best solution, because i depends on other
layers.
Why don't you use transparancy tab of the properties of the raster?
There you can set pixel values to be transparent (0-100%). In your case

Hi Mark:
I think that point sampling tool plugin is the tool what you need, With
it, you take the corresponding raster value into the points attribute
table, so in a new column you can calculate difference between point value
and sampled value and make a statistic analysis of that difference.
Hi All,
Under Raster then Polygorize to Vector Option I get the map separated
into polygon, which is what I want but the lines dividing them is like
,many roads running through the map, double lines. What can I do to make
this into a single dividing line. I suspect it is because the original map
(Just now noticed that by default replies *do not* go to the mailing list.
Oops. In any case, Carlos insists that I try the point sampling plugin,
which I'm doing now. Given that I'm dealing with 5 million points, this
could take a while.)

Hello Don,
I installed the sip for python3 and python2 as well. The qgis is installed
against python2, as it is clen also from the configure options (see my

Hi Les,
With the current implementation, labeling is always draw last, on top of
all other symbology layers. This is due to the fact that the automated
solution for placing labels is done after all layers have registered their
features. Otherwise, labeling would need to be solved prior to
