causing the issue.
Try backing up your .qgis2 folder (ie, rename to .qgis2.backup)
Then relaunch QGIS 2.6 and test again.
What's the data storage format? Are they spatialite, postgis, shapefiles, etc?

Hi All,
I've just loaded 2.4, used to be on 1.8. Running w7-64
2.4 is stunningly slow in everything it does, almost unusable. I'm just
loading a few polygon shape files, nothing too heavy. 1.8 had no issues
with them.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You quite right, I was saving the points off to shape file first. I then
reimport the SHP file for editing.
It is here that the moved points don't seem to stick.

I'm trying to import polygon files from Mapinfo. Outlines come through
fine but the colours don't work at all. This is a problem when your
importing a geology map of various coulours.
Tried importing TAB and MIF files. Neither worked.
