With this new version the connection to PostgresSQL 9.3 database seems
to time out after (I guess) 20 minutes or so of inactivity and I have to
re-load the project. Is this by design for security? This is on a
standalone desktop system using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

A note on working with Time Manager.
I save my projects with a daily Julian Calendar date stamp, thus:
ProjectName045. 045 being the 45th day of the year. When Time Manager
trashes the most current project file I can simply go back however many
days until I get a good project file. This

This is what I've done:
to 0 value 100% transparent
Then change render type to Singleband pseudocolor on the style tab and
set individual color for any value.
In your case add 1 to the list and select a color for it.

Same non-functional result on OSGeo4W installer. TM animation works
properly with shape file data. Looks like the problem is with the
PostgreSQL database connection. Permissions would be my guess.
I'll have to export all my point data to shape files to do animation.
