Hi all,
I have data which is in 0-360 degree longitudes and I would like to apply a
Polar stereographic projection. However, since the EPSG 3995 has limits of
-180/+180 for longitude, as expected it gives half the plot.
For some reason I cannot create a custom projection with an extent such as:
number > 0 AND @grid_axis ='y'
THEN @grid_number
WHEN @grid_number < 0 AND @grid_axis ='y'
THEN @grid_number
END
Based on the east-west being +/- 180 degrees, so we have O (24) hours as
the central meridian. Annotations applied to a 15 degree longitude

seen any real problems (subject to memory on the system of course).
Hi all,
Still no built-in option in the composer for projected map graticules (eg
Polar stereographic, Lambert conformal etc). Still limited to linear
systems.
Will this ever be implemented in QGIS, or is there a plugin that will
create projected map graticules for all projections (to display
, not impossible to find a partial solution, but hopefully this will be
built-in eventually. QGIS is a great piece of kit and I am sure it will
gain momentum!

Hi all
that attached ... oh
well the jpg might still provide a good example of what QGIS should be

Hi
Just wanted to get an idea of when the next version (2.6) is due for
release?
The last versions of QGIS 2, 2.2 and 2.4 all had a runtime error on the
64-bit version (non-fatal), so had to revert to the 32-bit ones to avoid;
has this issue on 64-bit been resolved?
Cheers

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a plugin (or other utility) available to plot
earthquake focal mechanism solutions (the beach ball plots) in QGis, or if
anyone has experience with dealing with such data.

Hello,
Is it possible to export a shapefile into XYZ from QGIS? It is partly
possible via the GMT option (save layer as) but not readily useable.

Hello,
Just to quickly report back and say that installing the 32-bit version of
QGIS 2.2 is fine; no run-time error message. Clearly this appears to be an
issue with the 64-bit one, but no idea why.

Think the next step is to test whether the 32-bit version exhibits this

Still get the same issue if you go through OSgeo4W method. As I say,

to verify if it is just the 64 bit
Hello,
When can we expect the standalone windows installer for 2.2 (32 or 64
bit) to be on the website? It is still on 2.0.1 there.
Also, have you fixed that annoying run-time error that happened on the
2.0.1 64 bit version when starting, but did not stop the program running?

Hello
I have installed version 2.2 of QGIS from the stand-alone installer for
Windows 64-bit and it is still giving the same run-time error that 2.0.1
did on starting the program. As before, this does not affect the program
but clearly was not addressed:
No idea what the program is trying to do,

Hello,
I have exactly the same bug, with apparently no more consequences later.
Thanks,
