Good morning, Terence.
The PostGIS Raster Plugin is no longer active because it's functionalities
were replaced by newer tools.
Now the GDAL Library can write on Postgis Raster datasets (

Hi everyone,
I'd like to thank everyone that tested wktraster 0.5 and replied with the
bugs. I could not reproduce it until today. As far as I've tested it's more
stable now as this version aimed to improve exception handling.
I don't think that I announced it but there is a wktrasterplugin
Andreas,
I''ve looked at the code and I don't think there is a syntax error in the

Hello,
I'd be glad if some of you could take some time testing wktraster plugin
0.4.
This version starts requiring gdal 1.8 (because gdal changed the connection
parameters).
I've done some preliminary tests with gdal 1.8, ubuntu 11.04 and postgis
2.0SVN.
I was able to load a landsat image and view
any further information or testing for you.

Ah, now that I read again, it IS a gdal version issue. The Does not exist
in filesystem message means it's not recognizing the postgis driver.
To tell it without mistakes, could you check gdal-info --formats and check
if there is a postgis raster driver there?

Hi Andreas,
As you were able to load the raster metadata i'm assuming you installed the
wktraster sql on the database.
I've never tested myself on postgresql 9.0.
Do you have a postgresql 8.4 instance to test too? Just to be sure if it's a
gdal incompatibility with 9.0.
Thanks for the information,

Woohoo...can't wait to try that out! What postgis version did you use?
Anything available in apt for wktraster + postgis?

Hi everyone,
A friend of mine recently told me that wktraster is already storing and
loading raster to postgres. And it's even doing some spatial analisys with
vector data overlayed.
I've written a simple plugin to load wktraster tables into QGIS as gdal 1.7
already has a driver.
Sorry for the
Hi,
I'm currently using google layers behind a proxy network that requires user

proxies but googleLayers can't. I've looked at the code and found out that
the urllib use doesn't support authenticated proxies. I've also found
Since our plugin version 0.5 many things changed.
Now we have a bug tracker, an svn repository and 2 coders.
Fred Laplante gave a huge contribuition to the project and now it's
usability is extended with the bearing/azimuth possibility, spatial
reference recognition, new user interface,
As many people are starting to help the plugin grow, I've started a
sourceforge project.
Now we have a simple site, a bug tracker, download section, svn code browser
and screenshots.
I hope everyone who are already helping start using the tracker section to
set desired features and open bugs so we
to enter these without doing any prior
conversions.
It looks like the zooming issue is fixed now!
Thanks for all of your work on this--please let me know if I can provide
any further information or testing for you.
