I am still not successful with the install. I have tried several times using different folders than the 32 install and it creates all the folders (both the application and the http download), also the application group that I select (different from 32 bit) is there. But there are no links created

Is there a preference where feedback should go? one of the mailing lists? OSgeo trac? QGIS issues? ATM I've concerns with the installer, but also some that are noticeable once you're running QGIS. -ramon. On 25/08/2013, at 23:58 , Jürgen E. Fischer wrote: > Hi there, > > I've prepared a 64bi

Hi Andreas, Thanks, I had the right installer, but it looks like I'd changed where to put the shortcuts but not where to put programme so the installer was being correct. (ie, the 64-bit version is the same as the 32-bit I already had installed, so nothing to do). I've got something installed

Hi Ramon, Did you really download the 64bit installer? Here is the direct URL: http://download.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/testing64/osgeo4w-setup.exe You don't see any difference between the two installers and you don't see it in the about screen of QGIS which version you are running (32bit or 64bit) - un

Hi Jürgen, Thanks - looking forward to testing it. Question: can this coexist with the 32bit installation? Or should I first remove the 32bit installation. This is only relevant during testing now. Later I will switch to 64bit only, anyway. Andreas Am 25.08.2013 17:58, schrieb Jürgen E. Fischer

Hi there, I've prepared a 64bit build of major parts of OSGeo4W. My main focus was QGIS (1.8 and master), but it also has all of it's numerous dependencies including current versions of GRASS 6.4 (w/o Tk), GEOS, PROJ.4, Qt, python, GDAL (including plugins for Oracle, ECW, MrSID and FileGDB suppor
