Hi all, -1 from me to have it enabled by default. Imho It's not a common tool every one needs (a niche usage) and as Luigi says, no need to clutter toolbars and menus. I can as well find other Core plugins that would deserve being on by default. Imho, people should learn that besides QGIS

-1 or -0 a reason is to avoid toolbar cluttering. QGIS is a so multipurpose tool that we cannot enable by default any feature (what about eVis for example?) btw, cluttering problem would disappear when we decide to offer a set of default profiles or when users will start to be used with
