Using QuickOSM, there are 2 specials Processing algorithms to deal with OSM Relations which are not multipolygons, routes or boundaries. It's using XML Sax parser because OGR can't read these relations. I agree, it's missing some docs here. 2017-08-31 13:30 GMT+02:00 Andre Joost

Overpass can grab turn restrictions. Read the wiki[1] for information on how turn restrictions are tagged. For example, this query [1] grabs all turn restrictions in my county. Once the query has run download a geojson for loading into QGIS [out:json][timeout:25]; // fetch area “skagit county”
