[Qgis-user] (no subject)
Dear all, I should add a spreadsheet with data containing the addresses of commercial activities to be loaded in QGIS. The spreadsheet (Excel) contains the name, code, complete address, city. How can I assign these values properly if I want to use open layer plugin with a road map of Google?Thanks___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Water plugins: epanet and swmm
Hi I am quite new to QGIS. I am trying to work with EPANET and SWMM on QGIS 2.6 on ubuntu. Following the indications on the two web sites: https://github.com/Oslandia/qgis-epanet https://github.com/Oslandia/qgis-swmm I follwed the instruction for both. On file epanet.c the instruction is “comment out line: #define DLL” and “uncomment line: #define CLE”. Both lines had the # symbol and I have removed the # on the second line. On file swmm5.c the instruction is “comment out line: #define DLL”, “uncomment line: #define CLE”plus “comment line: #include direct.h” I have removed the # on the second line only. On both EPANET and SWMM I then run “make” and I get error messages for both ending with: “Error 1”. What can I do. Does anybody can help me. Re: [Qgis-user] Can't edit postgres table more then once.
George, thanks for your advice. After testing on a brand new table, I've figured out that this problem appears only with tables, that don’t have a primary key constraint in the db. When I add a primary key, my edits get committed to the base as expected. However, I’ve noticed that “Add PostGIS Table” dialog doesn’t show this table has a primary key (the Primary key column is empty). But when a table is added to the map, it has a key=“gid” option in Layer source” field in “Properties - “General window. Can anyone confirm the same issue is only when editing a table without primary key? On 26 Jan 2015, at 05:15, George Silva georger.si...@gmail.com wrote: Weird. I'll try to reproduce. But when I try to edit an attribute of the same record the second time, when I hit save nothing is updated in the db. But the attribute table shows new values. Re: [Qgis-user] Fwd: QGIS crash on loading projects
Please first update to 2.6.1. If you have your crashed projects – you also have projects named with a .qgs~. Rename this project and delete the ~ and open it as usual. A lot of my students had the same problem last week – but only the ones who had forgotten to update to 2.6.1 Hope this can help you. Where's the log file kept and is there a way to enable logging from the osgeo cl window in windows 7? Re: [Qgis-user] (no subject)
You will need to somehow assign geographic references (Lat/Long) to each address. This might be achieved by geocoding from the addresses. Under plugins, check if the experimental MMQGIS plugin is loaded. This has a menu item for geocoding the addresses from Google and Open Street Mapping. The spreadsheet (Excel) contains the name, code, complete address, city. How can I assign these values properly if I want to use open layer plugin with a road map of Google?
