Hi, which QGIS installer do you use? If you use all-in-one (default), feel

The join function in QGIS is capable of making editable joins :
See the attached project and geopackage.
1 gotcha: Both layers in the relation (geometry and attribute layer) has
to be marked "editable" before you can edit the values from the joined
layer

Hi Richard,
thanks to have tested.
I tested a geoserver layer not directly to qgisserver but using lizmap.
I got this main issues in qgis server log:
[27692][22:42:58] Error at line 1, column 1: error occurred while parsing
element.
and
[27692][22:42:58] Cannot create temporary SpatiaLite
Thank you very much, Andrea!
I have used the SAGA processing tool and that works.
Best regards,
Christian

Hi all,
I would like to know if it is possible to publish by QGIS server a WFS
layer provided by an external geoserver. I posted the same question in the
Lizmap mailing list without any answer so far.
Do you have any clue?
Consider that in QGIS desktop I have no errors in the WFS log.
Thank you

Mmm, I did myself. And if you ask me you hit a bug... :-(
It appears that 'cascading' just
Hello everyone,
I have only been working with QGIS for a short time.
I have a point, line and area layer and also an attribute table with detailed
information about the respective geometry objects. Several objects of the
different geometry types (point, line, area) can belong to the same

Stewart Holt brings up an important distinction between
Meta Data, which belongs with the layer, and Layer Notes which
would belong with the project.
I agree that having both would be very valuable as each serves
a different and important role in documenting a project an
its data sources.

I am an absolute newbie to QGIS but have used other GIS programs.
I have tried to import a MrSID rater file with a correlating world file (.sdw)
by using the menu path: Layer - Add Layer - Add Raster Layer.
I navigate to the folder where the file resides that also contains the .sdw and

Thanks I see it. Perhaps we should install it manually?

I recall going back someway we were sold this Geopackage idea being
implemented into Qgis because it was going to be so much better than
shape files that everyone has been using up to now. I bought into these
ideas by converting shape files in most of my Qgis projects into
Geopackage files.
Hi Normand,
You might want to try the "Reclassify by table" tool. Depending on how complex
your styling is, you can either copy the limits manually into a table or export
them as an SLD and open the file in a text editor and transfer them to a table
by copy and paste.
Yes, that is a good idea.
Good luck!

Hi,
That is really a question for the plugin developers. It seems they are
still in active development, you can find the code here:

I have been wanting a feature like this and after reading the proposal, I
saw comments suggesting the use of metadata for this purpose. I think the
intent of the proposal is to place notes or reminders relevant for a
particular project. That would be useful and I would like to see that

Does the windows username of your student has any special characters?
If not, can you ask your student to create a new profile (options > user

Those are my only guesses. Otherwise you may need to
Hi to all,

Hello,
I would like to test the Space Syntax Toolkit plugin in QGIS 3:10 but it seems
it is not supported. Is there any new release of this plugin usable for the
latest version of QGIS?
