Agreed. Again, sposnors of this function are welcome.
All the best.

Hi Saber,
I am trying to create a wms using qgis-mapserver in Ubuntu 11.04
(64bit). I have followed the exact same procedure I did in 10.10 and
10.04.
But when I try to add the wms to QGIS, it comes up with Coordinate
Reference System (0 available).
I have the opposite problem. Clean
Hi Saber
I'm using QGIS server on ubuntu 11.04 here and I don't notice any major
changes after updating from 10.10.
Could you check if the server is linked to the right qgis libs
(libqgis_core.so, libqgis_gui.so)? Also, make sure the fcgi configuration is
still ok.

Marco

Hi all,
I've just loaded Qgis under Fedora 14 to try and do some of the things
that happen in Oziexplorer. (I'm an official at a number of Hot Air
Balloon competitions where Ozi is currently used for evaluating GPS tracks)
I've managed to get our (next)competition map loaded into qgis, but
I guess implementing topology rules and visualizing the existing errors
would be a way to identify and correct problems like polygon overlaping.
It might already exist some code.

Too bad I'm not a programmer... :-(
On Mon,
Click plugins, manage plugins then locate and enable Georeferencer (you may
need to download Python plugins first)
Use this tool to click on points on the map, specify/enter the UTM
coordinates for these points.
Do this for several points scattered throughout the image. Once done
Hello Dave,
I believe that QGIS is in fact the right tool for you to use.
In a normal case you would need to load both .map file in QGIS. Then using
the georeferencer plugin, load the JPG and start giving known coordinates
(the ozi file points, using the From map canvas tool) to places on your

Did you upgrade from 10.10?
I have got one upgraded from 10.10 which works fine. But I tried to
install it fresh and didn't work. I will look into the libraries and
server.
Cheers
