Thanks Werner. It is possible to send a shapefile, but the problem is not tied
with any specific shapefile. The problem is with every shapefile. And if I
remember right there was also a problem with ArcGrid. All the grid values
turned also to integers.
I will send the shapefile privately in a
Dear list,
I use QGIS Valmiera and try to load a tiled WMS Service from geoserver (version 2.5.1).
My problem is, that i can only load the tileset over the Toolbar-Dialog (load WMS/WMTS Button).
If i try to load the same Service in the Browser Tab e.g. with drag and drop QGIS load a WMS

Hi,
my problem is that qgis always crashes when I try to exit from the program,
both with 'File-Chiudi' and with the 'X' on top right, writing a
'file.dump' (I can send one of them gzipped, if useful).
I tried to uninstall all the plugins but with no effects.

Also, I was just looking at the QGIS homepage and found it quite

Agreed: please make suggestions, even better pull requests, so we can improve

Thanks.

Hi Simon,
this sounds like a very good idea to me.
At the moment documenters look at the commit logs for a [FEATURE] comment
and add it to a wiki list. Then search through all mls, wikis and blogs, if
there is some howto available or at a least a short discussion or
description about that
More info
I open Qgis, create a new shapefile layer, add some attribute with type decimal
number, then I allow editing, add a feature and Qgis asks attributes, but when
I try to type a decimal separator (. or , ) Qgis does not accept it at all.
I tried that several times with original locale
We could make a script to just pull out everything with [FEATURE] in the
commit between a date range if that will help. Maybe we could create stubs
in Tims changelog system using something like this.

Hi,
I'm finding (along with a number of colleagues in my office) that when we've
updated to a more recent QGIS (2.3, 2.4) we seem to be having issues with
QGIS crashing on trying to save the workspace or exporting a file.
In fact, it even seems to affect trying to add some files - almost as
Hi Nathan,
thanks for the offer, but this is not the problem. After feature freeze we
currently do a git log --since=date --grep='FEATURE', that's ok. And Tims
changelog is also very helpful and often already fine as a beginning.
The result is in the wiki: http://hub.qgis.org/wiki/17/ManualTasks
Thank you Lene. Precision solved the input side of desimal problem. But, again,
when I open the shapefile I saved, no decimals left. Qgis, however SAVES data
right. Decimals are there. But somehow they disappear, when I open the
shapefile.

Hi,
maybe a simple question, but I couldnt find the answer on my own: How can I
automatically change the color of polygons by the content of an attribute
table column?
For Example: Polygonlayer with 3 objects. Object 1 and 2 have value1 in
the column value and object 3 has value3
Same symptoms here with exactly same setup.
Before installing 2.4, I uninstalled and erased all traces of QGIS from
the system, so there should not have been any leftovers from old install.

For me, everything works...

Yes,
Why QGIS is in such a need to release every 4/6 months? It's obvious the
project doesn't have enough resources and I find a bit troublesome that
developers in the period add tons of new features yet bug squashes are
relatively small and left basically for the last week to be covered by
funding.
Hi Bernhard,
thank's for your quick answer.

Hi Julian,
It is called classification - se in the training manual

Hi Lene,
thank you for your help. Of course I knew classification. In the meantime I
realized that my problem doesnt require the usage of data-defined styling
but just simply classification. Sometimes its too easy to first see
solution. Sorry for time wasting.

Just to inform. With the kind help of Werner I could find out, that the reason
for missing decimals in attribute tables is somewhere in my work computer set

Do you have the Lecos plugin installed?
