Up to now, I have worked with mapinfo and tab files.
Is there a way to edit mapinfo (reading and writing) file with qgis ?
Mitab seems to be a library :
http://mitab.maptools.org/
But i did not understand the aim of this library.

Waiting for the official and stable gdal 2.0 release, it would be possible
to test qgis with gdal 2.0 (and TAB editing)via the osgeo4w installer

I succeed in generating atlas thanks to an input cover polygon layer
(=variable scale).
But how to set the scale bar ? Setting a variable scale has worked nicely
for me on overview maps (from a input cover layer) but not for scale bars
yet.
Should i enable the option called predefined
