Re: [Qgis-user] Metasearch plugin problem

2016-04-06 Thread Vicent García
Of course,

First, open the Metadata Catalog Plugin and put a default catalog service
(whatever you want).
Then, search for a wms typing "wms" on the search box
Next, click on a service/dataset which has no the possibility to add it into
QGIS using the WMS/WMTS button
Finally, click twice on the selected service/dataset and the message will
appear automatically. That's my case.

Let me know if you have any doubt.

Vicent.

[Qgis-user] Metasearch plugin problem

2016-04-06 Thread Vicent García
Hi everyone,

I’m having troubles to run Metasearch CSW plugin on QGIS 2.14. When I find a
dataset/layer which can’t be added as a wms layer directly, I click on the
dataset located on the list in order to obtain more info about the data, but
a python error message appear inmediately. Typical error displayed is:
“<> has no attributes”.

I’m using Lubuntu as a OS.

Vicent.

[QGIS-it-user] Conversione complessa vettore>raster e viceversa

2016-04-06 Thread Andrea Gagna
Ciao a tutti,

vettore poligonale...

Grazie,
Gagna Andrea.

Perhaps related to https://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/6186

You need GDAL 1.11.4, 2.0.2 or 2.1.0beta1

It hasn't worked for me in a while - I think the break started sometime
around gdal 1.10 - I *think*. For a while (and I haven't checked in
quite some time) I couldn't get gdal_translate to produce an xml.

Magari riprovando più tardi funziona !

Ciao a tutti,

Re: [Qgis-user] Current item @value in expressions

2016-04-06 Thread Neumann, Andreas
Hi Enrico,

I can't tell why this expression fails, but there is a more elegant way
to distinguish between even and odd numbers. The modulus operator (%).

CASE WHEN @atlas_featurenumber % 2 = 0 THEN --these are the even pages
   210 - @value
ELSE --these are the odd pages
  @value
END

The modulus operator returns the remainder after the divison - e.g. 5 %
2 returns 1, 6 % 2 returns 0, 7 % 2 returns 1, 8 % 2 returns 0 and so
on.

Als note, that @atlas_featureid is not a good variable to use, because
it isn't always guaranteed that the is no hole in your primary key
sequence (e.g. if you delete features) - you would also run into
troubles if you start filtering features in the atlas. I would rather
suggest to use the variable @atlas_featurenumber. This should always
start at 1 and increment by one for each subsequent atlas record,
regardless of any filter or holes in the primary key sequence.

Hope this helps,

Andreas

Is there a way to get the current item value that is being modified by
expressions.
I would like to reformat my print composer atlas for two sided printing
referencing to @value variable without success:

CASE
WHEN floor( @atlas_featureid/2 )*2 = @atlas_featureid THEN 210 - @value
ELSE @value
END

but I get always @value

Sometimes this is caused by plugins, "Globe" plugin is one of those known
for crashing at exit, try to disable it from the plugin manager.
