Re: [Qgis-user] shift or control to toggle zoomin/zoomout

2016-04-15 Thread Nathan Woodrow
Hi,

In QGIS:

Space + move mouse is pan
Middle click mouse is always pan
Mouse wheel is always zoom.

Page Up/Down = Zoom In/Out

Not sure we need any other methods at this stage.

Nathan

[Qgis-user] QGIS Security warning: project macros have been disabled.

2016-04-15 Thread Tudorache, Marian
Hi,

I have tried to launch a python script when QGIS project is open.

Inside Project Properties/Macros I have included in th macros area

iface to access QGIS API interface or Type help(iface) for more info
def openProject():

execfile(u'/opt/support_sw/current/spam/python/Controllers/spam_menu.py'.encode('UTF-8'))
def saveProject():
pass

def closeProject():
pass

The script does not start and I get this warning message: QGIS Security
warning: project macros have been disabled.
This used to work on QGIS 2.8.

Is anything new in QGIS 2.10 which affects the macros launching?

Thanks,
Marian

[QGIS-it-user] RT MapServer exporter : autogenerate template

2016-04-15 Thread nino formica

dei layer con i relativi attrbuti;

2) se tra i layer ho pure un raster, il plugin non funziona e viene
generato il seguente errore python:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File
"/home/nino/.qgis2/python/plugins/rt_mapserver_exporter/mapfileexportdlg.py",
line 187, in accept
templatePath = toUTF8(self.getTemplatePath()),

  File

line 232, in generateTemplate
for idx, fld in enumerate(layer.dataProvider().fields()):
AttributeError: 'QgsRasterDataProvider' object has no attribute 'fields'

... a prima vista mi sembrerebbe un bug !?

Qualcuno sa darmi qualche informazione a riguardo ?

Re: [Qgis-user] shift or control to toggle zoomin/zoomout

2016-04-15 Thread Garth Fletcher

The approach I'm used to is widely used in Mac software, such
as Photoshop.

It allows one to dynamically navigate using the following key
combinations:
 space bar with click & drag : pan (i.e., "hand tool")
 space bar + Command key with click : zoom in centered on cursor
 space bar + Option key with click : zoom out centered on cursor

It makes it very easy to navigate within an image. In most
software it also changes the cursor shape to provide feedback
as to its current mode.

One could use the Alt or Control keys on other systems.

In QGIS I've instead defined custom keystrokes to select the
3 tools - +mag, -mag and pan - but that is less efficient as
it requires the extra keystrokes.

Some time the intersection of two polygon geometry could generate a
multipolygon or also a linestring or also a point result or also a
collection of all the previous type.
Nothing is wrong this happen when the geometria are not true topological.

Hope this helps someone else too.

Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS Webclient - "shortname"-Tag

2016-04-15 Thread Neumann, Andreas
Hi,

There will be a start-workshop next week (Monday). It has been decided
to develop QWCII from scratch and use ReactJS and OL3. It will be a
while until it reaches feature parity with QWCI and the OL3-mobile
viewer.

So - until then there will still be some development on QWC I - but most
likely no big things.

Greetings,

Andreas

Hi,

AFAIK there are plans for a QWC II, but it is unclear when it will be
"released" as official successor. And I don't know either, if any concrete
development has already started or if there is a roadmap available. Currently
it seems to be a lot of testing and playing around with several solutions
and looking for funding - is that correct?

So to me QWC I is still alive and people develope on it.

Depends on what you want to do. If you just want to trigger the
actions (e.g. the equivalent to clicking the toolbar buttons), then
you may be able to access them via QgisInterface, but if you want to
script them you'd be better off importing the code into your script.

After a quick look at the code, I don't think the CADDigitize QActions
have object names or parents set that make it possible to find them
directly, nor do the QToolButtons on the toolbar. You could try
grabbing the list of toolbar buttons using something like the
following, but telling which is which is probably going to require
looking at the icon names or something like that.

   buttons = QgisInterface.instance().mainWindow().findChild(QToolBar,
"CADDigitize").findChildren(QToolButton)

You're probably better off just importing the code and calling the
functions you want directly, see
https://github.com/lbartoletti/CADDigitize/blob/master/CADDigitize/CADDigitize.py.
for hints on how to do that.

John.

l'ho appena scaricato ed installato su un vecchio Windows XP, e funziona.

Hi Marian,

Just wait some days, I will release the next version (0.2.0) of
CADDigitize. I partially rewrite it from scratch.

You can see the repo here: https://gitlab.com/lbartoletti/CADDigitize/

Is it possible to do this?

Hi,

Buffer require some parameter since you can choose the "style" of
buffer. You have some example on PostGis documentation (parameters are
the same)

http://postgis.net/docs/ST_Buffer.html

QGis define this parameters in Settings->Options->Digitizing->Curve
offset tool.

You can get this parameters via QSettings :
join = QSettings().value("Qgis/digitizing/offset_join_style", 0, type=int)
quad = QSettings().value("Qgis/digitizing/offset_quad_seg", 8, type=int)
endCap = quad
miter = QSettings().value("Qgis/digitizing/offset_miter_limit", 5,
type=int)

Hi everyone,

I would like to find more details about QgsGeometry::buffer with
more styles.

In QGIS API Documentation there are two version of the buffer:

Simple version with distance and segments and with sytles.

The one with styles is defines as: ( distance, segments,
endCapStyle, joinStyle, mitreLimit );

I do not understand the followings parameters:

endCapStyle: Round (1) / Flat (2) / Square (3) end cap style

joinStyle: Round (1) / Mitre (2) / Bevel (3) join style

mitreLimit: Limit on the mitre ratio used for very sharp corners

Does someone has some examples or recommend a book where to find
more details please?

The QGIS API Documentation does not give me too much.

Thanks,

Marian

The message "The plugin will be disabled because it crashed QGIS
during last startup" should only appear if there
"/Plugins/watchDog/libgrassplugin7" in QGIS2.conf, which is add if the
plugin crasshed QGIS last time. I have doubts that QGIS can recover
itself, as I wrote in previous mails.

The watchDog was introduced by Matthias in fa40e78f and fixed(?) in
cc650f93. Mathias, can you comment?
