[Qgis-user] Legend block behaviour in composer
Hi, I have several blocks of legend in my composer that I group together to have a final nice display: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92195218/legend.jpg To do so I have to stretch each block so that the final version looks like one single block and not several blocks put together: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92195218/legendORG.jpg A very annoying thing is that each time I refresh the composer, my legends get refreshed to their original rectangle and I have to reshape everything ... I thought that if I locked the blocks they would not get refreshed - but they do. I also tried to group them, but again they get refreshed. Is there a way to keep the final shape? Also it took me a while to discover that to pick up several blocks one by one you need to use the shift key and not the control key (as in most software). Is it normal or is it something I can configure somewhere? My config: windows 8.1 pro 64 bits and qgis 2.18.3 and QGIS version 2.19.0 code revision 1d80925 Kind regards Laurence Bechet ARK IN THE PARK Volunteer Co-Ordinator Cascades Ranger Station Falls Road, Waitakere* * ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
Re: [Qgis-user] Version of GDAL used for the windows binary on qgis site
The version of GDAL installed with QGIS 2.18.3 is 2.12 <-- this is for the 64-bit OSGEO4W version. Re: [Qgis-user] Version of GDAL used for the windows binary on qgis site
Not in a restricted environment, where I need the IT staff to do that. I was hoping to tell them which one to use. I'm looking to avoid a bug in GDAL 2.1.1. so 2.1.0 or 2.1.2 works. Does anyone have 2.18.3 installed from osgeo and can report that? Re: [Qgis-user] Version of GDAL used for the windows binary on qgis site
If installing on Windows, you can use the OSGeo4W installer ( https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/) - and if you choose the advanced option, you can identify (and have some control over) which versions of gdal and other items get installed. (here's the QGIS page on the OSGeo4W installer: https://www.qgis.org/en/site/forusers/alldownloads.html) hope that helps! [Qgis-user] Cannot use expression to determine line widths
Hello; I have a map using expressions to calculate line widths based on field values that I setup in v2.14 to 2.16. I recently upgraded to 2.18.3 and have been trying to tweek some of the maps and noticed that the expression option for line widths is now grayed out. I don't know when exactly this happened and I was wondering if anyone else noticed and/or had a solution/work around. [QGIS-it-user] Raster virtuali
Paolo ___ QGIS-it-user mailing list QGIS-it-user@lists.osgeo.org https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-it-user
