It's not super hard. 1. Download the data 2. Import it to GIS (probably comes in text file, so some conversion will be needed.) 3. Densify the lines, or create lines between the pairs of airports. Point 2 Lines plugin should help. You need to make sure to add nodes along the way (Densify),

The code to do this kind of thing has been in qgis for long time e.g. I published this map http://zookeys.pensoft.net/articles.php?id=4633_type=element_type=2_id=14_name= back in 2015 and had drawn it in qgis long time before it was published. The difference is that the lines are straight not
