Hi Jeshua,
If your want to use the label positions in an iOS app, it might be more
useful to use the PAL label placement algorithm that is used in QGIS to
place the labels dynamically in your iOS app?
Not sure if the licence would be compatible though. iOS is quite
problematic in combination
Thanks Micha for the tip. The function didn't look that way a few years

So I tried to use the gdal_grid function and ... I got an error message:

I frequently experience QGIS crashing and notifying me "Minidump written to:

I suppose I get this information because .dmp could hold some useful
information.
I have tried Googling but cannot find a tool to read the .dmp files from
Qgis.
Are they in the same format as the

Hi Bernhard,
That would be ideal.

Do you have any idea why FDW tables shouldn't be loadable in QGIS?
Thanks,

Hi,
I have troubles loading FDW layers (in my case postgres_fdw linked from
another DB on the same server). I get an error message stating that the
layer is an "invalid layer". In pgAdmin the respective user can access
and display the data and it is correctly registered in the

Greetings,
I currently have all the base layers for a 1:24k topographic national map of
the US worked out. Many many terabytes of data currently all in GRASS.
The last hurdle I have is to figure out the best way for labeling vector
features (hydro, roads, contours) and point text (mountain
I don't know why you're having trouble with the processing toolbox,
but regarding IDW interpolation, you can do it straight in the
Raster menu, Raster->Analysis->Grid (interpolation).
This uses the gdal_grid utility

It would be great to have a video that could be run well at any QGIS booth.
We currently have a lack of good visuals for conference booths. A nice
video would help a lot and compared to physical stuff it does not need to
be shipped around.
Ideally, it should be easy to add and translate subtitles
