thanx a lot for your hint. A well hidden plugin!
Anyway, I even upgraded to the nightlies, but to no avail: Also SAGA
vector operations do not seem to work.

It's a pity. Even "simple" tasks get unsolvable. Lots of GRASS algos
don't work, SAGA doesn't work ... Sitting 8 hours in front of the
screen, trial-and-error.
Think I will return to RStudio to get things done :(

All in all, 3.10 is a great release, but without all the "externals" in
processing, just not doing the stuff that I need.

There is another SAGA plugin that support SAGA 7.3:

Just to update this issue. I am still getting slow start ups and qgis not
responding freeze ups just as bad on QGIS 3.8.3.
Every version since 3.4.1 have given these problems.
I have gone through all the files from old versions that I could find and
deleted them.
I have tried new profiles, disabling plug ins and removing the browser
panel. 
I have tried turning off my Kaspersky security software.
None of these changes have made any significant difference.
I realise that only a few of us experience these issues, but there must be
an answer somewhere.

Non so che dirvi. Oggi la funzione "Dividi con linee" di processing
funziona benissimo. Forse i poligoni e/o le linee che stavo usando quando
vi ho segnalato la problematica avevano qualcosa che impediva a processing
di esprimersi al meglio ...che ne so ...vado a tentativi ...forse un
diverso sistema di riferimento del layer dei poligoni rispetto al layer
delle linee ? ...boh ...devo controllare.

[Qgis-user] Save a 3D animation?

Hello all. I am experimenting with the new 3D View function, and want to save 
an animation that I have created to put it into a PowerPoint and website, but I 
do not see any option to save the animation. I am running 3.4.13 on a Mac High 
Sierra, 10.13.6. If this is not now possible, it seems to be an important next 
addition? The GRASS NViz has several additional useful functions that might be 
also considered for further development.
