Unfortunately, the $geometry field with the original polygons no longer
exists. Layers only have one geometry field at a time unless you
specifically create something like a wkt of wkb field.
If it's was a regular grid, then yes, you could recreate it using
vector/research
If they were running a regular linux distro there could possibly be
builds if the distro provided the software in their own repository.
However, I half expect it's possibly a chromebook that software installs
won't be possible on.

I added a letter to the begin of each name and double quoted the names.
However, it didn't work with v3.20, but with v3.24 it works.

when I chose "Create Geospatial PDF" from the print composer in 3.22, I get
a PDF with some missing vector lines. I can see no pattern or something like
that in what features are skipped. "Normal" PDF output (as well as TIF

re-create a new profile! my first one was too old i presume. So, with my

I knew only Properties-> Style -> add... and tried this years ago. It
didn't work well by this time so I forgot about it.
Anyway, so it seems you expect, that when you switch a style for a
layer, and then add a theme, that this style

Bernd, indeed you can have several named styles for one layer, Qgis
allows that
Right-click the layer to open the context menu --> Go toStyles-->Add

You can duplicate a layer multiple times and create an own style for each and
then set an indivual theme.
If thats what you do, and it doesn't work, i have no clue.
Layer styles are always saved in project files by default.

The only thing I could think of is trying to make voronoi polygons
(toolbox) on those centroids, but for sure this will not bring up any
usefull findings.
