I am having problems importing ers (ERMapper) raster files. When I use the
import raster, all I get is a black image with no data. It does not seem to
be reading the data correctly. Any suggestions?

I have a jpeg image of a map in Albers Equal Area Projection (central
meridian 121 deg E, St Parallels of 1.5 deg S and 31.5 deg S, Western
Australia) and I need to bring it into QGIS. I have tried making a custom
projection for this but have failed. The projection info I have created is

Is it possible to have more than one map window open at the one time? In
MapInfo it is useful having two map windows with different contents being
able to be displayed in the one map composer (layout) window. This is really
handy when producing graphics for reports etc. Can QGIS do this?

I am having difficulty merging two adjacent Sentinel 2A satellite band
jp2/tif images. I have been trying the Raster > Miscellaneous > Merge
process but I do not get a combined image as a result. Usually I end up with

I have installed QGIS 2.18.8 and the GPS Tools for importing gpx files now
causes QGIS to crash - it was OK in earlier versions.
I can open the gpx file via the Vector > open (file type gpx) with no
problems, so there seems to be a problem with the GPS Tools plug-in.

I am trying import an AVIRIS (224 band hypersectral satellite data from
NASA) and although the image opens the images appears to be scrambled.
The file is a *.hdr file which I can open via the Raster open option.
The data type is Int16 - Sixteen bit signed integer and I was wondering

I have saved a print template with guides, but when I re-open the layout
template, the guides are not shown. I have the "Show Guides" etc ticked

I am trying to find out the best way to select the highest values in a
set of drill holes as well as the bottom of hole values. The files
contain drill hole id, depth from, depth to and assay values. If have

not recognising the Eastings and Northings, as they now are called

the images. I can open these images if I go via the Open Data
Source Manager > Raster option, but not ODSM > Geopackage option. Is

I am trying to run some SAGA algorithms in QGIS v 3.22.2 and I get an
warning message saying SAGA 7.8.2 is not supported. Is there a work
around for this?

not made sure they all work. Qgis is slowly
moving towards having SAGA as a stand alone plug in and you can use
the prototype of that called SAGA NextGen provider plug in as a work
around.

local (Cartesian) grid and one in real world utm coordinates, that will
calculate the real world coordinate transformation parameters? I have a
pile of local grid coordinates I need to convert.
