is obvious from reading the bug report how time
consuming the job will be. Creating more categories as we had in the
past ads a lot of ambiguity to the bug reports because people have
difficulty ranking between more than 2 or three categories.

ting the JASPER jp2 raster loading via GDAL is
quite slow (frustratingly slow really) on the only real performant way
to use a wavelet compressed raster at this stage is to use the Kakadu,
Mr Sid or ECW drivers (all of which are proprietary software).
Lastly it is probably more appropriate to use gdal_t

As mentioned above, this was *added* to streamline things for the new
user. I will try to find a way to resolve the GRASS issue though.
