I've come across a problem while installing Value Tool Plugin.
The ecosystem is: Windows 7 Ultimate; QGIS 1.7.3 (Standalone installer)
When I try to install the plugin I get this error message:
Couldn't load plugin 'valuetool' from

The second problem I encountered is when installing Open Layers.
The Error occurs in the same lines has in my first mail (117 and 283).

I installed OTB throug osgeo4w and R throygh binaries, but I'm not getting
the right folder configurations!

one?
I though that the purpose of that directory was simply to store scripts.

I suppose qgis works with 3d batimetric values. In those cases how to tell
the program the altitude is under sea level? We create a field in attribute
table and add the minus (-) prefix to the altitude level? Something like
this:

Why is it when I use the aspect tool of GRASS (r.slope.aspect) the results
are given from the East in a counterclockwise?! (i.e East is 0º, North is

There is a known bug in windows with models freezing the UI. Can you
try going to the configuration and setting the Run algorithms in a
different thread option to off? That usually helps
