Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot load WFS data
Hi Heinrich, I tried WFS "http://fbinter.stadt-berlin.de/fb/wfs/geometry/senstadt/re_0411_str_2010; and also got only 1000 objects, so I guess this is a provider problem from SenStadtUm. I tried it with the normal QGIS WFS loader, with the QGIS Plugin "WFS 2.0 Client" (because the service is also provided in WFS 2.0 and with ArcGIS, but in all cases I just got 1000 objects. In your case I would contact thw Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung und Umwelt Berlin under +49-30-90139-5257 and ask for problems with this service. About 2 years ago I had similar problems getting data over WFS from here and the told me that they had some technical problems, so they sent me the data as Shapefiles - they were very friendly! I also figured out that the option "only request objects intersecting with current view" is also not working for me - just got 1 object, so I guess this is a bug. The good thing is, this option is also available within the Plugin "WFS 2.0 Client" and here it works Ralf -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Cannot-load-WFS-data-tp5287424p5287866.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot load WFS data
No, I was wrong. It was set to 1000 or 10 000, so I tried it with 100 000, but still I received only 1000 features. Another problem is that I wanted to download only the features of the current map view and enabled "only request objects intersecting with current view" ("nur sich mit aktueller Ansicht überschneidende Objekte abfragen"), but this doesn't work. I only get one object. I need this option for another data set, where there is no attribute describing the location. Trying to download the whole data set, I probably have the same problem as described above: I only receive 10 000 objects. Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot load WFS data
Hi Ralf, thank you, that's it. I have got all data for this type. But then I tried it with this one http://fbinter.stadt-berlin.de/fb/wfs/geometry/senstadt/re_0411_str_2010 and only got exactly 10 000 features. I've found that the attribute table line cache was set to 10 000 in settings -> options -> data sources, so I changed that to 100 000, but this made no difference. Is this the place where I can set the maximum of features to be set or is this somewhere else? Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot load WFS data
Hi Heinrich, yes all the 1.369 polygon objects were loaded and rendered correctly in my QGIS, when I used the filter "BEZIRK" = 'Mitte'. I also tried it with "BEZIRK" = 'Pankow' and it also worked out well, but it took 2:13 min to load the 2.698 poly objects. In QGIS you can set an individual timout for network requests under Settings > Options > Network Menu (Einstellungen > Optionen > Netzwerk). Default is 6 ms (60 seconds). In my QGIS I set the timeout up to 6.000.000 to load bigger data or in case the internet connection is slow. When I tried to load the WFS-data with default timeout, after 60 seconds I got the (german) error message "Zeitüberschreitung bei Netzwerkabfrage...dauerte zu lange" Ralf -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Cannot-load-WFS-data-tp5287424p5287460.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot load WFS data
Could you see the objects in the map? Or was it like in my trial with 2.16, when the objects were in the table, but not visible? I tried it with 2.14 also with this filter, but again I get no results and timeout (is there a way, one can set the time for a timeout?) -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Cannot-load-WFS-data-tp5287424p5287445.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Cannot load WFS data
Hi, I wanted to load WFS data from a server. But I only get one feature (if "cache feature" is not set) or I get nothing and it says layer is not valid and cannot be added to the map and timeout (if "cache feature" is set). In the dialog of adding the WFS layer of the server I made the following settings: * the URL I entered: http://fbinter.stadt-berlin.de/fb/wfs/geometry/senstadt/re_0411_isu5_ua_2010 * I entered no filter * I made no SQL selection * I said just "add" THis is given as data source for the layer with one feature: http://fbinter.stadt-berlin.de/fb/wfs/geometry/senstadt/re_0411_isu5_ua_2010?SERVICE=WFS=1.0.0=GetFeature=fis:re_0411_isu5_ua_2010=EPSG:25833=-1.28775267538644456,-1,1.28775267538644456,1 I used QGIS2.14 On my private computer I tried it with QGIS2.16. There I had the possibility to set the maxfeature number, which I set to 1000 and got 1000 features in the attribute layer, but nothing was shown in the map (only when I edited the layer, then the red crosses were shown). I would be glad if someone could help me (if possible, for version 2.14), thank you! ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
