Hi,
If you get an email saying you have been unsubscribed from qgis-user,
it is referring to the old mailing list hosted on SourceForge.net.
This list has not been used in nearly a year and since SF doesn't
remove mailing lists, the only solution is to unsubscribe everyone
and disable future subscriptions.
Never fear, your qgis-user subscription at lists.qgis.org is still
intact.
