[Qgis-user] SPIT: Problem inserting shape file in PostGIS db

Hi list,

I have a working PostGIS connection, I can connect and view my
data fine in PostGIS. I'd like to add a shapefile to my database
using SPIT, yet whenever trying to do this I get this message:

Problem inserting features from file .../.../shp

I've searched the forum and the mailing list, I'm not
the only one having this problem.
Can someone point me in the right direction ?

I'm using QGIS0.8 + PostGIS 8.1 + Windows xp/2000

[Qgis-user] SPIT problem

I've seen that some people have had problems (#304 and #186)  using the SPIT
plug-in to load shapefiles to PostGIS, but I haven't seen a solution.  I'm
having similar problems and wondered if anything has been figured out yet.
