congratulations! I must say I'm quite heartened to see a solid
demonstration of global support so quickly.

How much of the US contribution is actually Alaskan? (I'm given to

Hi

We (the PSC) will announce the chosen developer in the next day or two
and then it will all and only be spent of getting critical (i.e.
application crashing) bugs fixed, followed by less critical bugs if
there is still time & money.

Regards

Tim

Any news on how this money will be spent?
We contributors are anxious seeing the outcome of our efforts, of course!
All the best, and many thanks.

[Qgis-user] Your opinions on the sponsored developer programme

2006-11-09 Thread Tim Sutton

Hi All

Well its been an interesting few weeks with the launch of our
sponsored developer programme. You can see a nice pie chart showing
where all the money has come rolling in from here:

http://qgis.org/content/view/131/105/

In the around 2 weeks since we started the sponsorship drive we have
already received $1152 in donations.

I've set up a poll on the QGIS home page and would be greatful if
existing QGIS contributors and users could take a moment to express
your views on the sponsored developer programme.

Best regards
