As an FYI, I have obtained from 3M some of the correct material for audio felt pads, of the type they supplied to BASF and TDK. It even has their adhesive backing :) I'll laser cut it into 4x3mm pieces and mail 10 out to anyone who wants them for $2, £3, €3.60... I'll post payment details in a
