You can have your QXL win files anywhere you ike by editing the dos executable
with a suitable dos editor.
That is what I have done and so I keep my QXL files in a seperate parition and
directory.

No, that's a QPC exclusive. Until quite recently even the WIN devices
were hard-linked (WIN1 - C:\QXL.WIN, WIN2 - D:\QXL.WIN etc.)
