thanks Dilwyn, that might be useful. However, the sneaky thing about QT is that 
it allows me to save a text document in HTML or TEXT whihc is quite useful. On 
the other hand, I might be doing it manually as the default HTML generated is 
quite 'verbal'.

Actually, they're not redundant, they represent the missing  a from You 
are, giving You're.

Without, them it looks like a typo of Your welcome (or an attempt at a 
quaint olde looke by adding a trailing e to your) which then begs the 
question of What about mine welcome?
