[Ql-Users] Digi C SE
I have mentioned in recent days that I've put a copy of Gerry Jackson's Digi C on my website's Languages page, and appealed for a manual for it. In fact, as Julian Skidmore pointed out to me, the most recent copy I placed there did in fact have a manual in the file SPC.TXT within the archive. Where I went wrong was viewing this with the Windoze XPee viewer which displays the introduction's index then promptly gives up with text truncated at first binary zero. Re: [Ql-Users] QL Hacker's Journal
Speaking of which, I appear to have, or my dad's estate appears to have, complete _QUANTA_ 1 - 20, or maybe it's 22. Can someone, esp Quanta itself, use this? Shipping could be a bother, but I hate to just throw this in the 30-yd dumpster out in the driveway. Many other things QL which I hope to catalog soon. [Ql-Users] New sprite editor
NEW GD2 SPRITE EDITOR RELEASED Duncan Neithercut has sent me a new GD2 sprite editor to make available on my website. It is an icon/sprite editor to create sprites in mode 64 or mode 4 or to save them as .bmp for use in Wolfgang Lenerz program. Existing sprites in a variety of modes (including mode 32 QXL/QPC and mode 33 Q40/Q60) can be loaded and edited. Or sprites can be created from scratch. The editor has a number of novel features including an independently editable alpha channel, undo function and a simple merge to combine 2 sprites of the same size, and other features such as home directory and colour theme awareness. It is in an alpha/beta status but is fully usable, but there may still be bugs due to the complexity of the program, that require additional users to identify. In other words, try it and let Duncan know of any problems you find! Available to download free (92 KB) from the Sprites page on my website: http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/sprites/index.html Dilwyn Jones ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
