days. Not only that, when I tested today in a blank directory with nothing on

Thank you for this idea. I have managed to redo the boot file in easy
stages this morning and at 1235 had a working QPC2 the way I am used to
which is great. I have several errors of copying but these have been
dealt with and I am happy.

the only three Linux machines I own are my NAS, a SubNotebook and my
Raspberry Pi. While the NAS has its job to do, the SubNotebook gets dust on
