When John Gilpin reported battery problems I thought it's about time to
check my Super Gold Cards which I have not used since April and I have
never changed their batteries.
One SGC (+QL) stopped at the F1/F2 prompt, the battery was labelled
92.12 and was completely empty.

I recently had the same trouble with my SGC/Aurora rig. The battery was
indeed dead. I was not able to find a source for an exact replacement,
it seems that battery has been discontinued.
My solution was to take the electrical specs of the original battery
type, voltage and maH and I
