Hi all,

As you may have read in the last QLToday, I am working on an update for
QCoCo.
This program uses the BMP extensions from W.Lenerz to show a program
background and the helpfull picture of available 3D borders.
However this never worked properly on the Aurora.
So I tried to replace this with the new big sprite option of SMSQ/E.
And yes this works very well on my Aurora and can sometimes also give a
file size reduction.
All sprites were made with Marcel's PNG-2-Sprite converter and reproduce
well under QPC2 too.

But now the display on my QXL is rubbish. 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit sprites
all have distorted colours.
Partly inverted, partly no colour, the background stll showing.

The question is:
is there anything wrong with the QXL_SMSQ/E software or is the fact that
my old hardware only has a 1MB graphics card a factor?

Is there anyone amonst you with similar or other experiences with mode 32
on the QXL Card?
BMP's, GIF's, JPEG's are all reproduced nicely under SMSQ/E.

Bob
