Hi
I have been using QPC2 in a computer which has Windows XL in French.
When I run the QPC2 Configuration window every word appears in French,
even with accents. That seems rather miraculous. Once QPC is running it
naturally reverts back to good old English.

Some while back I asked for help in getting QPC2 v2.00 using High colour.
Thanks for those who offered ideas.
I found, quite by accident, that if I disabled Norton Crash Guard the
problem was solved.
Wolfgang Lenerz's little program col_obj now works a treat, too.

I set 16MB for memory. Win1_ there is 4932kB free. Maybe not enough? I
tried changing 16 to 32 but win1_
remained with 16MB.
I have W98 SE set 800,600 and 24 bit colour (QPC set 800,600 which works
for QL colours but no other colours
when colour commands used).

I have often modified the TRA_x using SPY or QD (not sure) for a special
purpose. I admit it is some time that I used TRA and th
important, what is nice is the choice of pleasant
colours for text.
Can one do this with Quill?

Just found a colour sheet in wife's art folder.
so:
1 is Rhodamine
2 is Pale Cerulean
3 is Mulberry
4 is Yellow
5 is Red
6 is Green
Take your choice.

If I send the code and print some text with Basic the colour is correct.
However Text87 always
prints black despite having sent the code from Basic. I guess T87 resets
the printer or something like
that. I do not see a way around that. Pity.

should be possible to
send an ESC/P2 code from BASIC to the EPSON Colour Printer before one asks
T87 to print.

The C/S/Scroll problem is the least of my worries since I can bypass it.
