A friend of mine told me that his old QL with Gold Card does not keep the date anymore. It always displays 1982... when the QL is powered on.
He told me he removed the Gold Card battery and he connected two standard 1,5V batteries. This fix worked fine for some years but now the QL does not keep the date anymore. Assuming the replacement 1,5+1,5V battery still works OK is there an alternative source of problem?
