Re: [ql-users] LRESPR'ed TK2
I had a similar problem some time ago; gold card, semi working QL, (no working media to save it onto). Richard Z emailed me a file with it on. I believe I still have it, but on an old machine. I'll try to get to it in the next few days and email it on to you Jeremy Taffel - Original Message - From: "Timothy Swenson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 2004 8:34 PM Subject: Re: [ql-users] LRESPR'ed TK2 > The problem with the ROM version is getting it. Will pay postage or carriage of course. Single drive is enough for my purposes, I could copy the stuff I want onto ROMdisq then plug in the 3.5 inch drive to copy the files. I seem to remember that some QL interfaces can cope with "hot-swapping" disk drives as well, though with ROMdisq it shouldn't be necessary, or I could use a Miracle disk expander with the Gold Card to attach the single 5.25inch drive as drive 3 or whatever. Unfortunately, I won't be at any QL shows in the near future so I'll have to ask for it to be sent to me, but no problem paying for that. Many thanks, Chris. -- Dilwyn Jones ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.quanta.org.uk/mailing.htm

Re: [ql-users] 5.25 inch drive wanted
Thanks for offering Tim, but would cost more to ship from the USA than I'd care to pay for a drive which might only get used once or twice.
