Does Postfix deliver to maildirs or Unix mailboxes? It does deliver to Maildir, and that's how I have it configured. If not to maildirs, then qmail's pop3 service can't possibly work. That might explain your exit 1. But it does work correctly. That's why I'm annoyed to see exit 1 in the
