That's multilog, not qmail-smtpd. Connect to port 25, then do the ps
again.

The loops will be clearly indicated in the headers of the message -- look
at the Delivered-To: and Received: lines.

the dot-qmail file should be in each users homedirecory and should contain ./Maildir/

Not that there's technically anything wrong with a having Maildir named
"Mailbox", but it's confusing to humans. :-) And probably not what was

Did you create a maildir in your home directory using maildirmake?

I just checked a couple of things. They appear to have 2 mail hosts
(mail-gw.zianet.com and mail.zianet.com).
I just tried to send to mail.zianet.com and it worked fine. I then
tried to connect to mail-gw.zianet.com and it failed (Connection
refused) I wonder if the failures happen when the 2n
