yes, it works with virtual domains (i had this running)
yes, you can put just any domain into ~/control/relaymailfrom

no, it is not save. i experienced havy troubles with orbs. their checker does in fact 
try to send mails with sender
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. if that goes through (and it does with relaymailfrom) your 
mailserver is classified as openrelay and
remains on the list. i had to switch back to tcp-rules.
