vsm-style Maildir?

This seems like it would be a common question, but I haven't found a clear answer. I would like to merge the stability and speed of Maildirs with the administrative convenience of VSM (nice, clean, all-in-one directory tree). I've tried starting qmail's rc with something like env -

vsm to Maildir

Okay guys and gals. I see lots of utilities to convert from mailbox to Maildir, but nothing to move from vsm to Maildir. Has anyone written a utilitiy to do this? Or am I going to have to do it the hard way and copy everyones vsm to mailbox then convert it to Maildir?
