hi, i have installed qmail with vpopmail on redhat linux 8. i have setup a domain palcominfotech.net. i am able to send and receive mail on local users and able to receive from out site like from hotmail. but while i am sending mail to outsite it is giving error. The message could not be sent

i have installed qmail with vpopmail on redhat linux 8. Wrong list, try the Qmail list (http://cr.yp.to). The issue at hand appears to be the fact that you have not properly secured the mail server to prevent relaying from unauthorized clients. This has nothing to do with a web-based utility

Ok, I have re-installed everything and I'm still having problems. (See below for the original message I posted to the list.) I decided that because I had installed qmail with a different set of instructions (not using LWQ) that I would be wiser to remove the whole thing and reinstall

You should not be using the Osirusoft RBL list any more, as it was recently closed down. The admin there has configured any use of this RBL to return a positive result, in an effort to force people to remove this RBL from their config The wording of that error message suggests you used my guide
