2003-01-10 Thread Ken Jones
Use vpopmail-5.3.12. It is stable and will be promoted to
a new 5.4 once we finalize a new qmailadmin 1.0.7

 qmail-1.0.3

 I tried to vpopmail-5.2.1 with qmailadmin-1.0.5,but It's same!

 Then I got vpopmail-5.3.12 from inter7.com and compiled same way.
 Yes! It's no problem at all.
 But it's Development Versions.

[qmailadmin] Modify User Passwords

2003-01-10 Thread Andy Melton

I recently installed qmail with vqadmin. I am unable
to access vqadmin through the web interface to change
usernames and passwords for mail users. Is
there a way to modify passwords of qmail users (not
system users in master.passwd) through the command
line as opposed to a gui? Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

RE: [qmailadmin] Modify User Passwords

2003-01-10 Thread Activate
Hello Ken

I have installed vpopmail enable large site switch. (This makes the
vadddomain put the domains 100 hundred to a directory called 0,1,2 and so
on)

I have the following problem:
When vaddaliasdomain is used the symlink is placed in the domains directory
and does not include the /0/ /1/ /2/. This means that the link has to be
deleted and manually remade. Then the assign file has to be manually
corrected and the cdb remade.

Please can you tell me what I have done wrong?

Kind Regards

Chris

 i'm getting the following error trying to compile qmailadmin 1.07, which
 i've never run across in previous version builds.

 solaris 9, sparc, gcc 3.2.1

I did a bit of a search on the web and found some other references to the
scandir() function using the alphasort paramater failing to compile on
solaris

The way that call has been written in the 1.0.7 code seems to match exactly
with the example I get when I run man scandir on my Redhat linux box :

EXAMPLE
   /* print files in current directory in reverse order */
   #include dirent.h
   main(){
   struct dirent **namelist;
   int n;

   n = scandir(., namelist, 0, alphasort);
   if (n  0)
   perror(scandir);
   else {
   while(n--) {
   printf(%s\n, namelist[n]-d_name);
   free(namelist[n]);
   }
   free(namelist);
   }
   }

Not sure what the fix is to make it compatible with solaris..

ps. v1.0.7 does compile ok for me under redhat

Michael.
