Need to have suid bit set on this one.
-rws--x--x 1 qmailq qmail 22348 Mar 24 11:18 qmail-queue.orig
I think that'll fix it up.

# chmod 4711 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue.orig

Best regards

Hi All,
I did

Now I don't get rejection messages any longer but it seems that the mails are
not sent, I have sent to myself and nothing arrives

Duplicate messages in mailbox can result from:
.) .qmail file in user's account that has 2 lines. This happens when the
user's name is changed in qmailadmin (it's a bug).
.) when scanning takes a long time, the sending smtp process (server or
mail app) can time out before qmail-smtp
If you're sending to yourself, qmail-remote shouldn't come into
play.
Do these look ok?
[root@tacs-mail queue]# ls -l /var/qmail/queue
total 36
drwx-- 2 qmails qmail 4096 Jun 20 19:23 bounce drwx-- 25
qmails qmail 4096 Mar 24 11:18 info drwx-- 2 qmailq qmail 4096

Probably should check your other bin files, just to be sure:
[root@tacs-mail bin]# ls -l /var/qmail/bin
Here it is:
[root@glob221 ~]# ls -l /var/qmail/bin
total 1164
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root qmail 9152 May 13 2009 bouncesaying
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root qmail 26328 May 13 2009 condredirect
-rwxr-xr-x
When I run
ls -l /var/qmail/bin
I get all files in green but I get in red the following:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Jun 21 15:36 qmail-queue - qmail-queue.orig
-rws--x--x 1 qmailq qmail 24780 May 13 2009 qmail-queue.orig
-rws--x--x 1 clamav root 58790 Jan 5 2013 simscan
-rwsr-xr-x 1
I took a look in my change logs to see what changes I made and why.
I have seen both of these cases more of the first mentioned than the
second.
I will monitor to see if any of these surface again.
The first is an easy fix but not so much of the second.
thanks
dave
