Do as proposed by Dan. I have tested it here with vpopmail 5.4.25; adding and deleting a domain-alias using vdeldomain works nicely without touching the original domain. Ensure, you don't have a too old version of vpopmail and make a backup (Google shows there has been an issue several years ag
