You know, Nigel, this whole discussion is not FOR or AGAINST any specific
distro, but about how to best move the project forward with the resources and
knowledge we have. Since it is way easier to focus on one distribution when
about to change things (switch from srpm to rpm, etc.), it just
+1
On all of it.
I pop in from time to time just to see what is happening with the future
of QMT.
I do agree about Fedora for sure. I always thought that Fedora was more
of a Desktop or Workstation platform.
I would like to see Debian in the mix. I do not use it in our core for a
lot of
You're right, it's probably about time to migrate away from qmailtoaster.
Mandriva is very much alive and kicking, thank you very much.
The reason a lot of people are not using qmail, I'm sure, is because Mandriva

I know I'm almost always the odd man out on issues like this one - the
squeaky wheel, so to speak - but I too would like to see us additionally

build service.
RHEL/CentOS platform is O.K. for me.
Thanks Eric!

Eric,
Correct me if I am wrong, but the whole qmailtoaster project started
with the idea to have RPM packages
for a quick deployment under RedHat based OS. Hence, RHEL/CentOS support
only should be fine for most people.
Personally, I started from RedHat 8 and move to Debian, RHEL, Whitebox
I've done a good deal of thinking about this, and think that it'd be
best to run it by the community at large (not just the developers) for
everyone's consideration. This is not really new, and is not much
different than what Jake had committed to some time ago. I just want to

Good call. I've been using the CentOS/QMT combination since 2005 and
wouldn't think of any other.
